SaraI read Sura died in the US and is buried here. I don't know the cause of her death. I believe the author stated Seyit commited suicide at age 46. Not really sure why but have also read a different source saying he was very ill, his lungs, and could not live being an invalid. Not sure of the accuracy of internet sources but that is what I have discovered.
edit I gave incorrect information. in the back of the book the author says seyit died in 1945 at age 53.
