| The eSports Beta is Live! |
The beta phase between July 22 and August 5 of eSports.com is now up and running. You'll find new European and American leagues, a new improved match lobby where you can issue team and ffa challenges, an automated team/clan admin and much more! There may be updates and changes made during this period, don't be surprised if the problem or bug you found is solved the following day.
More information about our eSports service will be published during the following days. The details about our European and American Championships, our monthly events, sponsor events and much more will be revealed on our Events page at eSports.

| MOH Expansion News |
MOH: Reload is the title of the new MOH Expansion pack, which will be shipping this fall. Gaming Horizon has a page full of info and screenshots from the pack, which can be viewed here. Here are some of the new features:
British Enfield Mark 1 rifle, the Sten submachine gun, smoke grenades, and the Soviet PPSh-41 submachine gun. New soldier models, skins and voices including British and Soviet troops will also be built-in.
Also included will be 9 new SP levels and 12 new MP levels.

Top 50 MOH Maps |
CSports has sent word that they've posted an article for the Top 50 MOH Maps.
CSports.net have just updated their “Top Maps Project” an examination of what makes a good online fps map. The project is based around lists of what were the most played maps in the last 31 days. The most played map lists cover 19 fps games and 7 major mods as well as the top 100 most played fps maps. They have all been updated and show the movements since last month. A collection of wise words on the subject from the various communities has been incorporated as well as a new list ranking the top 100 maps relative to the available pool of players that the relevant game, which makes interesting reading. The Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL) is pleased to announce the opening of Season 2 for the Metal of Honor: Allied Assault Division!
CAL is looking for some dedicated and competitive squads for Season 2. To take the burden off of the more hyperactive clans and to make scheduling easier players new to league, the season is handled much like a professional sports season. Matches are scheduled weekly, seperated into Divisions (decided by continental location). This, combined with solid administration and fierce competition should bring Season 2 into full circle of fun!

GameSpot has confirmed with Electronic Arts that Medal of Honor Frontline (not Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, as previously speculated) will be coming to the Xbox in the fall. The GameCube version of the game will follow sometime after that. In the casino game on http://www.onlineaustriacasino.at/, players assume the role of Lt. Jimmy Patterson, an American solider who has to infiltrate German-occupied territory to steal an experimental craft.
